Long
ago education merely meant for transfer of knowledge from
the teacher to the taught. Today, education is much more than
that after all, if it is just knowledge that you are after,
there is enough of it and more on the World Wide Web. It has
been estimated that the entire body of knowledge is doubling
about every three years. To keep pace with this explosive
growth the excellence in education is need of the hour.
The main object of legal
education is to produce competent Lawyers whose aim is to
defend Fundamental Rights of an individual and welfare of
the society. A competence both physical and intellectual as
required to be a member of orderly and civilized society.
Legal knowledge is a composite expression of information,
skill and ethical values. Aim of all these three is betterment
of society. In order to acquire these one has to learn inside
and outside the classroom participation. R.L. Law College
is imparting legal education to provide professional training
in Law, promote legal literacy, to strengthen the democratic
traditions and uphold Constitutional and hum an values.
